GD6300 Capacitance & Tan Delta Tester is a high precision testing instrument for measuring capacitance and dielectric loss factor (tgδ) of various high voltage power equipment. The instrument is integrated structure, built-in dielectric loss test bridge, variable frequency adjustable power supply, booster transformer and high stability SF6 standard capacitor. It can test grounded equipments, not-grounded equipments, and completely sealed CVT (Capacitor Voltage Transformer). Testing high voltage source is produced by the instrument internal inverter, then is used for tested objects after boosting by transformer and the frequency is 45 to 55Hz (or 55 to 65Hz) to avoid the electromagnetic interference from power frequency, in order to ensure the measuring accuracyThe test is automatically completed by microcomputer.

The instrument can use positive connection method and oppositive connection method to test separately.

Inverter and sampling circuit inside the instruments are digitally controlled, output voltage can be adjusted continuously.

meet the requirement of high power output, the instrument adopts the isolated power supply,so the grounding protection is canceled, so before the measurement, the grounding terminal of the equipment must be reliable grounded.
